Eheim 2028 Floater, spring and holder

Over the years, my beloved Eheim 2028 has served me well. Most parts still intact except the impeller; and the indicator for the water flow rate. I have changed the impeller and it is working fine now. As for the indicator for the water flow rate; there is a ceramic ball in the indicator. It had corroded and began to give inaccurate flow rate reading. So, I decided to change this part. However, Eheim do not carry this same part anymore; it has upgraded to better part called the Floater, spring and holder (Order No. 7444410). It is very different from the older part. It works with a spring and no more ceramic ball. Hope this part is more lasting than the previous.
One thing I like about Eheim filter is that they have good support and spare part is always available. Eheim warranty that the spare parts will be around for at least 10 years. Thus, I feel safe using Eheim product.
