Mazda3 aftermarket Antenna

My stock car’s antenna was damaged. Thus, I purchased a cheaper after market replacement; it is called Spoon Sport short antenna (8880-IM01-010) and give it a try on my car.
After installation, it could receive most of the major FM stations. However, the stock antenna could receive much more. I know this Spoon Sport antenna is not a dummy antenna. But the FM reception is just not as good; it could not compare with the stock. The stock is much better in my opinion. Also, done a test at the basement car park. The Stock still could receive well but as for the Spoon Sport, the sound quality deteriorated. So best is to stick with stock antenna for now…
