Power Monitor Plug

I have bought many items from eBay. One of the best things I ever purchased is the Power Monitor Plug.
The reason I purchased it from eBay was because I could not get in locally. I had been hunting high and low for this power monitor plug for a long time. The power monitor plug proves very useful as it could measure power consumption of all you household electrical appliances. You could actually determine how much the power consumption during the stage when the electrical appliances consume during standby. Normally, I always thought the standby power is very little. But I am wrong. Some electrical appliances like my newly purchased tower fan consumed 24 watts when on Standby mode. In general, those appliances with remote should consume some power when on standby.
I have tabulated some information on the power consumption of some of my appliances as below. With the information, hopefully you could get a feel of which appliances we could actually turn off when not in use to save some electrical power and thus save some money.
For my case, with standby power of 91 watts. The total electrical cost per month is about S$14. If I off all the above appliances when not in use, I will save S$14 per month and S$168 per year.
